Friday Hill is a UK pop-rap-indie trio, formed as a result of the split of the band Blazin' Squad. Consisting of James MacKenzie (known as Kenzie), Mustafa Omer (known as Mus) and James Murray (known as James). The band is named after Friday Hill in Chingford.
Band member, Kenzie, appeared in the reality TV series Celebrity Big Brother UK in January 2005, shortly before the split of Blazin' Squad. He also released an autobiography a few months later titled "my life".
The group released their debut single, Baby Goodbye in October 2005, which reached #5 in the UK singles chart. They released a new single on February 13 called One More Night Alone which reached #13 in the UK singles chart. The debut album was released on February 27 called Times Like These and got to #67, and due the failure of the album, they were dropped by Polydor.
Actually, Friday Hill are currently working on new material due out in 2007 on a new record label.
