The income figures on the Fritch, Texas page are absurd. Most folks in Fritch are doing just fine. It is a nice little town on the shores of Lake Merideth. Many people choose to live in Fritch and commute to Borger or Amarillo to work. Others move there to retire by the lake. The official Fritch slogan, "Howdy, Neighbor," illustrates the atmosphere and spirit of the community. Stop by Fritch for a day at the lake and stay for the outdoor musical, Lone Star Rising, at the Lake Merideth Ampitheater that evening.
