[edit] Summary
Full Sky ObservatoryTM, software logo, by Tom Ruen (Email)
I made this logo to identify the source application for varied images made for Wikipedia.
I've written this program from 1997-present, starting with the Moon's motion and adding features as needed. It is not fully user friendly, but it is available to be shared if anyone else would like to use it. It is written in Delphi Pascal 3.0 for windows.
In addition I'm happy to use it to generate other images upon request.
This logo image shows the perspective of an observer hovering over the south pole of Mars, looking towards the north polar axis, located between Deneb of Cygnus and Alderamin of Cepheus. The date is January 1, 2005, 12:00UT. Location: Hovering ~32850 km above Mars. Solis Lacus (Lake of the Sun) is visible on the lower left side of Mars.
