Black Celebration on Depeche Moden viides albumi, joka julkaistiin 17. maaliskuuta 1986. Levyn teemat käsittelivät nyt entistä synkempiä aiheita kuin aikaisemmilla levyillä. Black Celebrationia pidetään menestyneenä syntikkapopin ja goottirockin sekoituksena. Se äänitettiin ja miksattiin Hansan studioilla Länsi-Berliinissä aivan Berliinin muurin varjossa.
Levy on ainoa Depeche Moden albumi, jolla on nimikkoraita. Depeche Modella on kuitenkin kolme muuta albumia, joiden nimet löytyvät kappaleiden teksteistä: Construction Time Again, Some Great Reward ja Playing the Angel. Black Celebrationilla on myös eniten Martin Goren tulkitsemia Depeche Moden kappaleita, kuten A Question of Lust, Sometimes, It Doesn't Matter Two ja World Full of Nothing. Loput kappaleista ovat David Gahanin laulamia.
