Matthew (Matt) Ridley (7. tammikuuta, 1958 - ) on brittiläinen tiedekirjoittaja.
Kirjoissaan Ridley esittelee ideoita, joita geenilähtöinen näkökulma on nostanut esiin biologiassa. Toisin kuin Richard Dawkins, Ridley on välttänyt paljastamasta henkilökohtaisia vakaumuksiaan.
Ridley on naimisissa neurotieteilijä Anya Hurlbertin kanssa.
