Tales from the Twilight World on power metal -yhtye Blind Guardianin kolmas kokopitkä levy. Tällä levyllä Blind Guardianin oma uniikki tyyli alkoi löytyä. Albumilta löytyy jo useita Guardian-klassikoita, kuten Welcome to Dying ja Lost in the Twilight Hall. Levyllä vierailee myös arvostettu Gamma Ray -kitaristilaulaja Kai Hansen. Tällä levyllä yhtye aloittaa Lord of the Rings -kappaleellaan tietynlaisen "keskiaikaballadi per levy" -linjan. Seuraavan levyn, Somewhere Far Beyondin, akustinen balladi räjäyttääkin pankin...
