An area around the Llancanelo Lagoon in Malargüe, Mendoza, Argentina. This salty, shallow lagoon is located in the Depression of the Huarpes (about 1,200 m a.m.s.l.), surrounded by long-dormant volcanoes, and is home to many aquatic birds including flamingos. |
