Mai Kuraki est une chanteuse japonaise née le 28 octobre 1982. Elle aime la musique américaine (Whitney Houston, Mickael Jackson et Mariah Carey) qui influence ses chansons. Elle oscille entre des tendances Pop et RnB. Sa carrière commença réellement avec son single q"Love/Day after Tomorrow" qui fut un carton absolu (plus d'un million de ventes) au Japon.
