Robert W. Paul est un producteur, réalisateur, directeur de la photographie et acteur britannique né le 3 octobre 1869 à Highbury (Royaume-Uni), décédé le 28 mars 1943 à Londres (Royaume-Uni). 1er producteur de film anglais. 1er réalisateur qui a pensé à raccorder deux plans. A appartenu à l'école de Brighton. Celle-ci a travaillé aux différentes techniques cinématographiques que l'on connait aujourd'hui.
