Spencer Tracy est un acteur américain né à Milwaukee (Wisconsin) le 5 avril 1900, décédé le 10 juin 1967 à Beverly Hills, Californie, USA.

Spencer Tracy a obtenu deux Oscars du meilleur acteur deux années consécutives en 1937 pour Capitaines courageux et en 1938 pour Des hommes sont nés, ainsi que le Prix de la British Film Academy en 1967 pour Devine qui vient dîner ?. Marié, et ne pouvant divorcer de son épouse, il vécut maritalement jusqu'à sa mort avec Katharine Hepburn.
