The Glue ou Micheal Kenji Shinoda (Mike Shinoda, Linkin Park & Fort Minor), est né a Agoura en Californie pour aller au même collège d'arts que le D.J. de Linkin Park Joseph "Mr.Hahn" Hahn. Influancer par Jay-Z The Glue se lance dans le hip-hop pour rejoindre sont premier groupe de rap-métal Xero. Puis après l'arriver du D.J. Joseph "Mr.Hahn" Hahn et du deuxième chanteur Chester Charles Bennington, il changaire leur nom pour Hybrid Theory puis pour Linkin Park. Il sortir plus de cinq album en six ans. Mike se lanca dans le hip-hop après qu'il eûr travailler avec le rappeur Jay-Z. Son groupe s'appelera Fort Minor au lieu de Mike Shinoda car d'autre artiste y participe.

Fort Minor est le groupe de hip-hop de Mike. Il ont sortie qu'une album nommer The Rising Tied. Les chansons sont bonne et ce n'est pas du hip-hop comme les autre, c'est plus du hip-hop plus moderne. Linkin Park est le duexième groupe de Mike. Groupe former a Phoenix en Californie, il est former de six personne: Brad Delson a la guitare, Chester Bennington au chant, Darren "Phoenix" Farrell (qui quitera le groupe un an seulement), Joseph "Mr.Hahn" Hahn comme D.J., Mike Shinoda au chant, au piano et a la guitare et Rob Bourdon a la batterie.
