G.E. Graven (Graven, George Edmund; 1964- ) is a southern gothic poet and novelist who lives in Jackson, MS; USA. Graven was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and moved to North Mississippi in the mid-80's, where he became a graduate of Mississippi State University. In 1998, he began the epic work, entitled: Grotesque, A Gothic Epic, which is being released on the internet as an entire hypertext compilation, and a fully illustrated online historical novel.
