Galiform plc is the parent company of the Howdens Joinery Co. and Howden Kitchens Limited. It is listed on the London Stock Exchange (GFRM) and is a constituent of the FTSE 250 Index. Howdens have c.380 depots in Scotland, England & Wales, and also trade from several depots around the Paris area of France under the name of Houdan Menuiseries SA.
Howdens are the UK's #1 supplier of kitchens to the trade and supply all their kitchens from local depot stocks at the best local price.
Howdens kitchens & bedrooms are manufactured at plants located in Runcorn, Cheshire & Howden, Yorkshire.
Galiform was formerly the called MFI Furniture Group plc and was the parent company of UK Furniture retailer MFI Retail. It changed name in October 2006 after selling MFI Retail to private equity firm Merchant Equity Partners for £1.
