Galleon (band)

Galleon is French electro-pop duo from Marseilles, founded by Gilles Fahy (who also sings) and Phillippe Laurent.
They emerged on the European dance scene in January, 2002. with a hit-single "So I Begin" sung in English language. The single was released by Sony Music/Radikal Records and was sold in 400,000 copies. Also noteworthy is accompanying music video featuring top model Jitka Ogurekova. After the initial success another single ensued ("One sign", November, 2002.), followed by a full-length album, also called "So I begin", in 2003.
