games xtreme is a website that was launched in 2000 by Benjamin Jones to cover game news and reviews for the PC and PlayStation.
In 2001, the website was changed to cover games for all other current and next-generation platforms and a major redesign allowed them to present more information about these games including a fact sheet, news, screenshots, cheats and related links. games xtreme currently covers the PlayStation 2, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Portable, Xbox, Xbox 360, Nintendo GameCube, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS and Wii platforms.
As of March 2007, they have information on over 7800 games. Each game information include (where appropriate) the official fact sheet, screenshots, packshot, cheats, developer and publisher links, official website link, genre, release date and a list of current prices.
In early 2006, they also began offering gaming downloads such as movies, demos and patches.
