GanttProject is an Open Source Java project management application for Microsoft Windows, Linux and Mac operating systems. It uses Gantt charts to display how project activities comingle and depend on each other. It allows you to set different resources to different tasks and set precedence. All in all, it has the same basic capabilities as Microsoft Project, except that sub-day durations are not currently supported (they are planned for the 2.1 release). It allows importing and exporting Microsoft Project files. GanttProject is Free Software. Pre-compilied binary packages are available that will run on Windows, Linux or Mac.
