It's not every day you find someone who you can call "talented." 16 year old rapper Pyro, known for his clean lyrics and flawless rhythm, is truely one of those artists. Growing up in the suburbs of Sparks, NV, Pyro, AKA Garrett Raffanelli, was always someone who knew what he wanted out of life and did everything he could to get it. "I always knew I wanted to be famous," he says, "but it was just a matter of how I was going to get myself there." With his family constantly on the road doing shows, Py grew a love for the stage. At the age of 10, he started writing short songs about life at the time, inspired mainly by the popular acts of the day. Within a year, he had expanded his resume as not only a rapper, but a producer, actor, model, singer, and even comedian, anything and everything just to be able to entertain people.
It wasn't until he was 14 until Pyro began to get serious about music. With the help of his father, he was able to record his own songs in their family studio. He began to collaborate with local unknown talent similar to himself, combining to create songs that spread not only through those who knew him, but the whole city of Reno as well. With his name spreading quicklly through the streets, Pyro was looking for the next step in his career. Joining Raskal of 3000 Entertainment, they worked together to help set up Pyro's debut album, due for release Fall of 2006.
Not only is Pyro quickly becoming one of Reno's most popular mainstream artists, he's taking his voice across the country, joining with fairly well known artists from New York, Texas, Los Angeles, ect. With all of his talent and ambition, you know that Pyro is going places, and moving quickly at that. This is one 16 year old who won't stop until he's at the top of his game, taking his friends and fans along for the ride. Once this inferno takes off, nothing's going to be able to put him out.
