Gary Jeter (born January 24, 1955 in Weirton, WV) is a retired National Football League Defensive Lineman.

Jeter amassed 52 career sacks while playing professionally between 1977 and 1989 for the New York Giants, Los Angeles Rams and New England Patriots.

Jeter was an All-American at the University of Southern California in 1976.

Went to Cathedral Latin (now Notre Dame Cathedral Latin) for high shcool. Played along with eleven other division I college football players including running backs Bill "Dollar Bill" Hallal (Florida), Jimmy Wiler (Notre Dame), Dubber Ward (Alabama). Other teamates included Mike Icampo, Tim Hyland and more. His seinor year in high school his team almost won the state title, but tied rival St. Joes (now VASJ) 6-6.
