Gary Wallis

Gary Wallis (born June 10, 1964 in Westminster, London) is a drummer/percussionist trained at the London Symphony School Of Music. He is best known as the percussionist for Pink Floyd in the post-Waters era. He can be seen and heard on the Delicate Sound Of Thunder album and video as well as the P*U*L*S*E album and off-shoot video. He has also performed with Mike & the Mechanics, Nik Kershaw, Power Station, Spinal Tap and Jean Michel Jarre.
Between 2002 and 2004 he toured Germany with the German band called Schiller, the brainchild of Christopher von Deylen and amongst Schillers guests on the tours were Sarah Brightman and Peter Heppner on vocals. Wallis also played on the Europe wide hit "I feel you".
As of 2006, Wallis is the musical director and drummer for the classical crossover band Il Divo.
