Gauchos
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Gauchos is a term used to describe a North American style of modern pants that derived from the manner of dress of the residents of the South American pampas, chacos or Patagonian grasslands, found in parts of Argentina, Uruguay, Paraguay, southern Chile and southern Bolivia and Brazil (principally the state of Rio Grande do Sul).
Gauchos should not be confused with the capri, or the often-misattributed Bermuda short. Gauchos have a distinctive flare--not merely a wide leg--and are made typically from flowy material.
