Gavin Thomas

Gavin Thomas (born 20 October 1977 in England) is a Welsh rugby union footballer, who plays for the Llanelli Scarlets in the Celtic League. Thomas has also played for Wales. He has played 18 times for Wales. He plays in the back row. He previously played for Bath Rugby and the Neath Swansea Ospreys.
He played for Wales under-18 and under-21 teams. Thomas made his senior international debut for Wales on June 10 in 2001 against Japan, playing two Tests. He was capped another four times that year. In 2002 he played in the Six Nations, as well as playing Tests against South Africa and Romania. He was capped five times in 2003, including the Six Nations. He played in two Tests against Romania in June of 2006.
