Gayton, Northamptonshire

Gayton is a small rural village 5 miles from Northampton town centre in South Northamptonshire. It is situated on a hill close to between the larger villages of Bugbrooke, Milton Malsor and Blisworth.
The village has a parish council, church (St Mary the Virgin), a village hall, a post office (in someone's utility room) and a primary school, one of the smallest in the county with just 50 pupils. It also has two pub-restaurants, The Eykyn Arms and The Queen Victoria, which also offers accomodation (see the village website on the external links).
