Genkou youshi
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Genkouyoushi (原稿用紙 genkō yōshi?) is a Japanese term for writing paper which utilises a grid or squares.
Also called manuscript writing paper, such sheets are often divided into 200 or 400 squares. The spaces are each used for one Japanese character. The squares run in vertical columns as Japanese is traditionally written vertically.
Also can be romanised as "genkooyooshi."
