Genuine People Personalities

Geniune People Personalities (GPP) are behavioural routines programmed into the robots manufactured by Sirius Cybernetics Corporation in the science fiction comedy book and radio series Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy by Douglas Adams.
Marvin the Paranoid Android, the perpetually depressed robot seen throughout the Hitchhiker series is programmed to have a Genuine People Personality. However, it does not have the same effect on all robots or cybernetic machines built by the Sirius Cybernetics Corporation. For example, the doors of the Heart of Gold are programmed to have a cheerful disposition.
