Talk:Gene Chandler
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Just as a matter of interest, was Gene Chandler ever made aware that "Duke of Earl" is an absolutely meaningless, nonsensical phrase?
Duke and Earl are both ranks of British nobility so you can be Duke of Devonshire or Earl of Lancaster but not Duke of Earl - its impossible to give an American equivalent for there are no American titles but I suppose it would be a bit like saying somebody was the "Governor of Senator".
Just wonderin'
