George Lombard (born September 14, 1975, in Atlanta, Georgia) is a Major League Baseball outfielder for the Washington Nationals. He bats and throws left-handed. He is 6'0 and weighs 200 lbs.
Lombard was drafted in the second round by the Atlanta Braves in 1994, the same year that he graduated from The Lovett School in Atlanta. He has seen major league action with the Atlanta Braves, Detroit Tigers, and Tampa Bay Devil Rays. He joined the Red Sox as a minor league free agent in March 2004. He currently plays with the Washington Nationals.
