George M. Teazis

George Michael Teazis (born July 1, 1957 in Athens, Greece) is a national shotput champion of Greece and a European champion as well.

Teazis received a master's degree in physical education from the Athens College of Athletics, where he graduated first in his class. He then joined the Greek Army, where he became chief of the Special Forces Cadet School and lieutenant-in-command of the Special Forces unit. Later in his military career, Teazis became the lieutenant-in-command for NATO forces and worked for the Greek KIP, as well as other governmental organizations. Afterward, he was a coach for the National Olympic Gymnastics team.

Teazis moved to the United States, where he became the personal trainer to singer Julio Iglesias. He now owns a gymnasium in Salisbury, Massachusetts
