Gerard Greene (born 12 November 1973) is a professional snooker player.
He has enjoyed moderate success and spent one season in the top 32, when he was ranked 26th. He has qualified for the World Championship three times without winning a match at the Crucible Theatre.
The highlight of his career so far was reaching the quarter-finals of the 2003 British Open. He beat Ali Carter 5-1 at the Brighton Centre and then secured an excellent 5-2 victory over Ken Doherty which he described as his "best performance as a professional". He went on to beat Joe Swail 5-1 to reach the last eight, but was denied a semi-final place as he lost 5-4 to Ronnie O'Sullivan.
Born and bred in Kent he qualified to play for Northern Ireland through his parents, who were born in Belfast.
