Gia Nadareishvili

Gia Nadareishvili (Georgian გია ნადარეიშვილი; September 22, 1921 – October 3, 1991) was a Georgian chess composer and author of many books on chess studies. He was a neurologist living in Tbilisi.
Solution of the sample study (after Chess Today from September 22, 2006, where it was re-published): 1.Rf1+ g1N+! (after 2. g1Q? white takes the black rook, other moves of black lead to a quick mate) 2.Rxg1+ Rxg1 3.Rf2!! Be5 (otherwise black gets checkmated immediately, e.g. 3. ... Bxg2 4. Nxg2 mate) 4.Rh2+! Bxh2 4. Nf2 mate.
