Gianluigi Gelmetti

Gianluigi Gelmetti (born 11 September 1945, in Rome) is an Italian conductor.
In 2001 he was appointed Chief Conductor of the Teatro dell'Opera of Rome.
Since February 2004, he has been Chief Conductor and Artistic Director of the Sydney Symphony Orchestra.
