Gianmarco Zignago

Gianmarco Javier Zignago Alcóver (born on August 17, 1970 in Lima, Peru) is a Peruvian pop singer and composer. His mother is the Peruvian actress and singer, Regina Alcóver. His father is the Peruvian composer and singer Joe Danova.
He has also won a grammy, and is well-known throughout hispanic countries.
He first sang on television at the age of 2 in Buenos Aires.
In 2004 he recorded a song for the Peruvian American Cup 2004 entitled "Más allá de los sueños" (Beyond Dreams), which became a smashing success
Gian Marco is very adept at writing and composing songs, as he wrote "Hoy" (which is performed by Gloria Estefan) that reached #1 in several charts of several countries, including the USA.

Gian Marco currently works as a spokesperson for the Peruvian cell-phone company Claro. He has also been nominated as a good-will embassador to Unicef.
