Giorgi Ugulava was born in Tbilisi on 15th of August, 1975.
1992 - Graduated from Tbilisi 1st Secondary School
1992 - 1994 Studied in the Tbilisi Religious Seminary
1998 - Graduated from Tbilisi State University
1995- 1997 Studied at the University of Saarbrucken
1997-1998 Worked as a journalist at the Iberia TV
1999- Worked as a jounralist at the Internews Foundation and for Transparensy International Georgia as a program manager.
2000- Worked for Eurasia Foundation on the position of a consultant.
2002 - Gained the John Smith Scholarship. Theme: The regulation of Mass-Medium in the United Kingdom.
2001-2003 Director of Legal Education Association ALPE
2003 - Secretary of the Minister of Justice of Georgia.
2004 - First Secretary of the Minister of Internal Affairs of Georgia.
2004- 2005 State Representative of the President of Georgia in administrational-territorial units of Western Georgia.
2005- Head of the Administration of the President of Georgia.
2005 July - Appointed on the position of the Mayor of Tbilisi.
2006- Elected on the position of the Mayor of Tbilisi.
