Giovanni Maria Trabaci

Giovanni Maria Trabaci (c. 1575 – December 31, 1647) was an Italian composer and organist in the Early Baroque era.
Born in Montepeloso, near Potenza, Trabaci served as organist of the Oratorio dei Filippini in Naples, organist of the royal chapel there and then as its maestro di cappella.
Trabaci was most noted for his keyboard works, which include ricercares, canzonas and toccatas. He also wrote numerous sacred and secular vocal works.
He died in Naples.
