The material contained here comes from a number of sources (Scotsman, BBC, etc.), so if you want to dispute them, fair enough, but offer a reasoned argument as to why they are not correct. I have made very minor cosmetic changes. However, most of this regarding qualifications makes no sense at all and exhibits the stupidity of whoever posted it in the first place. There is a finding of fact and law from the High Court of Justice which is very precise and clear both re my professional status and anticedents (NONE)! Why contradict a finding of fact from the High Court in favour of a newspaper report which is not subject to the penalty for perjury and which is subject to criminal charges in Italy (Scotsman and Guardian) is quite unexplained. I thank the owner of this site in the United States Jimmy Wales (Jimbo) that has been fair and removed the protected page and for not being blind to how this site is being used or abused by certain members who wish to dispel untruths instigated by those who hide behind nom de plums. If anyone has anything to say have the courage to use your own name and details as I do. - Actually I removed the protection, just as I was the person who protected the article in the first place. Personal attacks on the person or people who have contributed to the article is against Wikipedia policy, and reflects badly on you, not helping your case. The same goes for aspersions cast on those who use noms de plume (more correctly, User names); there are many reasons for using them, and emotional accusations of cowardice again reflect on the accuser rather than the accused.
- If you had approached this matter courteously, maturely, and with respect for others, your case would have been heard and considered. Instead you bulled in, making personally-motivated changes to the article with little more than assertions and insults as your explanation. If you're prepared to discuss the matter calmly and sensibly, giving citations to back up your claims, then we might get somewhere. Mel Etitis (Μελ Ετητης) 09:13, 18 May 2005 (UTC)
One discusses things in a normal manner with normal people not cowards who hide behind names. Have the courage and responsability to say who you are and the basis for advancing mendacity and repeating defamatory statements. Then you will have the respect not only from me but from all. until such time continue hiding and writing absurd lies that have no substance and one day you will answer not to me but to the law which is above all of us!

Returning to factual content for a moment (!) can anyone who knows, update the section on political ambitions re the May 2005 election -- did the "Radical Party" stand, which constituencies etc? --mervyn 07:59, 19 May 2005 (UTC)
- I can't find any evidence that they did, although they do appear to have officially registered. As for "factual content", I wonder if our anonymous contributor could tell us what "criminal proceedings" are being taken against the Guardian and Scotsman? Anilocra 08:55, 19 May 2005 (UTC)
To Mel Etitis Now that I know who you are rather than correspond on this board it is perhaps better if it is done privately so you will be receiving a letter from me shortly at your home address. It will be up to you if you wish to publish such. Re Radical Party no candidates were put forward in the past election. Re criminal proceedings against Guardian and Scotsman these are ongoing in Italy where defamation is a criminal offence. GDS
- I've just seen this. Peculiar. It was posted well over a month ago, and my surprise that he claims to know who I am is somewhat tempered by the fact that no letter has arrived at my home address. I removed Mr Di Stefano from Category:Dundee as he is appears in its sub-category Category:Dundee F.C. and has no connection to the city other than his involvement with the football club. -- Jellyman 21:48, 15 June 2006 (UTC)
