GISuser is an online news and technology developed by and for users of Geographic Information Systems (GIS) and related technologies (GPS, cartography, remote sensing, LBS). Housed at gisuser.com, the resource was developed and founded in 2003 by Glenn Letham, a geographer and technology writer skilled in GIS. Also known as GISuser.com, the GISuser technology resource provides users of GIS with a vendor neutral envirnment where users have access to the latest technology news, feature articles, technology spotlights, product reviews and more. Complementary offerings include a career center with free GIS related job posting, comprehensive data directories, free software and tools, map gallery, discussion forums, and a 3x a week daily newsletter.
