Gitarama, Rwanda

Gitarama is the second-largest city in Rwanda, with a population of 84,669 (2002 census estimate). Although a part of the Southern Province, it is situated in the centre of the country, to the west of the capital, Kigali. It is the center of the district of Gitarama.
