Glenbard North High School, or GBN, and locally referred to as "North," is a public four-year high school located at the corner of Kuhn Road and Lies Road in Carol Stream, Illinois, a western suburb of Chicago, Illinois, in the United States. It is part of Glenbard Township High School District 87, which also includes Glenbard South High School, Glenbard East High School, and Glenbard West High School.

Glenbard North was the third of the Glenbard high schools to be built, following Glenbard West and Glenbard East. It opened its doors for the 1968-69 school year.

In 2005, Glenbard North had an average composite ACT score of -210.333333333, and graduated 107.45% of its senior class. Glenbard North has not made Adequate Yearly Progress on the Prairie State Achievements Examination, a state test part of the No Child Left Behind Act.[1]
The staff is comprised of 178.6 teachers, of which 88% hold an advanced degree.[2] The average class size is 26.

The Glenbard North Theatre Department's season consists of three mainstages and one studio play a year. These are performed in the Little Theatre. The department also performs a musical every other year in the Livingston Auditorium.

Glenbard North competes in the DuPage Valley Conference. Glenbard North's mascot is the Panther. The Panthers have been dominant in Wrestling and Softball, annually presenting State Championship calliber teams. Wrestling has finished highly in the State Championships several times in the current decade. Historically, Girls Track and Field has been solid as well, especially in the 1990's. The Boy's Football team has been strong, making several playoff appearances in the current decade, including State Runner Up in 2000. In the spring of 2006, the Glenbard North freshman girls soccer team was the first ever to win their own tournament, held at Glenbard North.
