TV.com summary |
Glenn Beck is a nightly cable news show on Headline Prime, the primetime programming block for Headline News. As the title shows, the program is hosted by Glenn Beck, a prominent talk show host from Premiere Radio Networks. It debuted on May 8, 2006 to mediocre ratings, but soon developed a cult following mainly comprised of Beck's radio audience.[citation needed]
The program differs from other cable news shows in that it has more entertainment-oriented segments than is usually expected, thus the slogan, "The Fusion of Entertainment and Enlightenment," a phrase generally applied to all of Mr. Beck's products.
