Glenn Docherty

Glenn Docherty (born 20 October 1983) is a South Australian local government Councillor. He was elected to the City of Playford Council in the 2003 council elections, as one of two councillors for the electorate called Ward Six.
Ward Six covers the suburbs of Elizabeth East and Hillbank. These suburbs are residential suburbs which are located approximately 25 km from the CBD of Adelaide.
As of 2006, Docherty currently sits on Playford’s Development Assessment Panel and Community and Environment Committee. He also represents the City of Playford on the Playford District Bushfire Prevention Committee.
Docherty was first elected at 19 years of age and is currently the youngest member of the City of Playford. He has completed a Bachelor of Nursing from the University of South Australia and works as a Registered Nurse.
Docherty is involved in a voluntery role with St John Ambulance, currently with the role of Divisional Officer with the Playford Division. He is also the President of the St John South Australian Youth Council, and is one of two South Australian Representatives on the St John Australian Youth Council.
