This from the "Debate" section:
"If we can accept Glishkong as a back-formation of Konglish then the rules and practices governing each dialect could arguably be interchangeable."
My first impression is that I don't agree with this. I added the sentence about Glishkong being a back-formation from Konglish, but I meant it in a purely lexical sense. I can't speak for Kevin, but my impression is that while the word may originate from the term "Konglish," it is not necessarily tied to it semantically. In other words, the rules and practices may indeed be interchangeable, but if they are it is not because Glishkong is a back-formation of Konglish. Suho1004 13:14, 16 August 2006 (UTC)
Almost forgot: I was also thinking that it might not be a bad idea to move the "debate" section here, onto the discussion page, lest we start having a discussion in the actual entry. Once we arrive at a consensus on the varying opinions we can list them concisely in the entry. That is, I think we should figure out what the debate is before we put it in the entry. Just a thought.
