Gloria Mundi

Gloria Mundi was an early gothic rock band. The name of the band is Latin and means the glory of material things. This could be a reference to the phrase "Sic Transit Gloria Mundi" meaning "this is how the glory of the material world passes".
Gloria Mundi members were Eddie Maelov, their male vocalist, and Sunshine Patteson (now working as Sunshine Gray), their female vocalist & keyboard player, cc played tenor saxophone, A bassist known only as Ice played on the I Individual record. When he left to form a band with Stevie Shears of Ultravox! he was replaced by sometime Bruce Woolleyand the Camera Club bassist Nigel Ross Scott.
After Gloria Mundi disbanded Eddie Maelov, and Sunshine Patteson went on to produce music, on the Survival Records label as Eddie and Sunshine. cc contributed a memorable saxophone solo to the Ultravox! song Hiroshima Mon Amour, and Nigel Ross Scott went on to play bass with Re-Flex, and 80's pop outfit.
