The hill designated Hill 235 during the Korean War is remembered as Gloucester Hill because of the actions of the Gloucestershire Regiment (the Glorious Gloucesters) in following their orders to "Hold on where you are" during the Battle of the Imjin River 1951.
Hill 235 is south of the Imjin River at in Jeokseong-myeon, Paju City, Gyeonggi-do Province, South Korea.
