- B.S. in political science from United States Naval Academy, 1986.
- Graduated from the Navy Supply Corps School, 1987.
- Member of Naval Reactors staff, 1987-1996.
- Worked for various Capital District Non-profit organizations, 1996-2002.
- Director of the Chapel + Cultural Center at Rensselaer since 2002.
