Go-Gurt

Go-Gurt is a portable yogurt made by Yoplait, designed for kids. The brand name is likely restricted to the United States, however similar products are available elsewhere. For example, in Canada the product is known as 'Yoplait Tubes'. In the United Kingdom, Fromage frais is used in place of yogurt and marketed as 'Frubes' (a portmanteau of 'fromage frais' and 'tubes').
Go-Gurt is squeezed out of a tube and directly into the mouth, instead of being scooped up by a spoon. Commercials featuring this technique include one with a kid on a skateboard eating it, as well as one dancing - literally - on the ceiling of a room as a boy eating yogurt with a spoon watches. The latter ends with the line "lose the spoon" as the boy on the ceiling tosses the other his Go-Gurt.
Go-Gurt with tie-ins on popular culture have also been made. These include "OGurt" to promote Shrek 2 and Dexter's Laboratory Go-Gurt tubes with a part to smear off.
Yoplait has also recently released the Go-Gurt Smoothie, which is currently available in three flavors. The Smoothie has no real connection with the Go-Gurt line of portable yogurt other than the name and the company.
In Ellen DeGeneres' 2003 "Here and Now" stand-up show, she made fun of the product, asking " was there a big mobility problem with yogurt before? "
