[edit] SASR
Hello, what's your source for the statistic that the Australian SAS achieved a 500:1 kill ratio in Vietnam and the claim that some of its training fatalities are actually secret combat deaths? --Nick Dowling 07:50, 25 November 2006 (UTC)
See the article on the Australian involvement in the Vietnam war for the SAS kill ratio, it'll have a citation there. As for the secret combat deaths, well thats common knowledge, can't really cite that. Thankyou.
- No, the statistic isn't cited at Military history of Australia during the Vietnam War either (it does have a citation needed flag though). From memory, David Horner's book on the SAS states that deaths in training were just that and doesn't suggest otherwise. --Nick Dowling 07:32, 15 December 2006 (UTC)
I found a book about the ANZAC involvement in the Vietnam war, by Richard Pelvin. He states that the SAS during their time in Vietnam had 492 confirmed kills for 2 KIA. Goldfishsoldier 02:51, 16 December 2006 (UTC)
- Cool. Could you please add citations where appropriate? (see: Wikipedia:Citing sources for citation styles you might want to use). Thanks, --Nick Dowling 10:41, 19 December 2006 (UTC)

Hiya, I noticed you asked about my gaming expertise on Talk:Gun politics in the United Kingdom. I'm into most PC games. The only kinds of PC games I don't play really is flight sims, racing games and WWII FPSs. I've been known to break that last one quite a few times though if the game's really good. Why do you ask? Don't see how it's relevant to the UK's gun politics. Haridan 20:45, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
Ah yes, I can't remember why I asked that. I'm into RTS' and RPG's myself. Goldfishsoldier 22:08, 14 February 2007 (UTC)
[edit] East Timor
Hello there. Thanks for your addition to East Timor. Do you have a reference though? I don't doubt that it is true, but you no doubt know that everything must be referenced in wikipedia. see WP:ATT. kind regards Merbabu 02:36, 19 March 2007 (UTC)
