Gordon O'Brien (born May 10, 1989 in Blairgowrie, Perth and Kinross) is a Scottish goalkeeper. He currently plays for Scottish First Division club St. Johnstone after progressing through the youth ranks. During the 2006/7 season, after Saints' first-choice 'keeper Kevin Cuthbert broke his finger, O'Brien was elevated to the bench for three games as back-up for Bryn Halliwell. He was demoted again, however, when the Owen Coyle brought in Michael McGovern on loan from Celtic.[1]
