Gotham Awards
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Gotham Awards is New York’s annual film tribute and awards ceremony to acknowledge a wide breadth of talent, both local and international, and honor New York’s overlooked and upcoming position as a film community. In 2004, the Gothams broadened their purview to underscore New York’s ability to serve as a platform for celebrating the breadth of the international film scene. The awards gala increased from six awards exclusively focused on the New York community to nine, embracing talent from the New York, Los Angeles and international worlds of cinema.
