Governor of Brussels-Capital
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
The Governor of Brussels-Capital (French: Gouverneur de Bruxelles-Capitale, Dutch: Gouverneur van Brussel-Hoofdstad) has the responsibility to enforce laws concerned with public order, in the Brussels-Capital Region, one of the three regions of Belgium. The governor's powers are actually quite limited.
The Governor of Brussels-Capital should neither be confused with the Minister-President of the Brussels-Capital Region nor with the mayor of the City of Brussels, which is one of the 19 municipalities of Brussels.
