Gröna Lund

Gröna Lund (lit. The Green Grove) is an amusement park in Stockholm, Sweden. It is located on the seaward side of the Djurgården island. It is a rather small park although it contains most typical attractions. The small size is mainly due to the location that don't allow them to expand in any direction except out in the waters. The park has a stage with popular concerts during summer. There are boats to the island from Slussen, Nybroplan and Skeppsholmen.
There is also a roller coaster called Jetline, designed by Anton Schwarzkopf, and many other typical amusement park attractions such as go karts, a merry-go-round, a fun house, a tunnel of love, a Viking ship, and a variety of prize games.
The Gröna Lund is also known for its rock and pop music concerts; the capacity record is held by reggae superstar Bob Marley who performed for about 27,000 people in 1980; Marley had already performed there in 1977 and 1978.
The park is owned by Parks & Resorts Scandinavia AB which is controlled by the Tidstrand family.
