Grønland is a place in central Oslo, Norway. It is served by several tram and bus lines, as wel as the Oslo T-bane (subway) at the Grønland subway station.
Through the last 20 years Grønland has devolped into a multicultural melting pot. In the Grønland area you will find stores carrying goods from all over the world, as well as mosques, bars, restaurants and streets full of all people from all over the world. In the recent time Grønland has become more trendy and poplular with continuously rising pricing on apartments. Grønland is now one of the most up and coming parts of the city, especially with the coming new borough of Bjørvika and the new Opera nearby.
Grønlad is situated on the east side of Akerselva only 5-10 minutes walking distance from the central station and down town Oslo. Grønland stretches from Grünerløkka down to the ocean by the middelalderparken beach area.
